I found a website from the Czech Republic that sells DVDs, and they have PMPT and I thought the cover was pretty interesting looking:

Does anybody have any information that relates to Mr Ramsey's service in the United States Navy, besides his listing as having been a "distinguished officer" in that branch of the armed forces? I've always respected people who have served in any nation's Military!

They make it sound like John gave them an interview, but I highly doubt it. It's probably just a summary of what he's said in interviews, with their own sensational twist on it.

Do you think child beauty pageants would have such a bad reputation if JonBenet wasn't in them?

Child beauty pageants have a very bad reputation, and outside of people in that world, you don't find too many who are accepting of them. Some people will say point-blank that they associate pageants with JonBenet and that's why they dislike them...but I think that just hearing about how horrible pageants are for years when the case was hot in the media, has an effect too. Up until the mid-2000's, the only exposure most people had to child pageants was when they saw JonBenet's videos. So I wonder...if JonBenet hadn't been in pageants or if her case hadn't become as huge as it did....do you think people would be so vocally outraged over pageants? I don't mean that people would like them...just that they wouldn't freak out over the mention of them.

I have even see people say that T&T wouldn't exist if i weren't for JonBenet's case...and I wouldn't go that far...but I do think a lot of the controversy (and therefore media attention and ratings and success) does come from everyone knowing that one of the little girls who participated in them was murdered.

This song reminds me of JonBenet SO much! The song is Drake ft. Lil' Wayne - The Real Her. You can listen to it here --->

I don't know why this song reminds me of her, it just does especially Lil' Wayne's verse (these are some quotes from his verse that reminds me of her)
"Sometimes i'll Stevie wonder about her" - sometimes I personally just drift of and think about JonBenet
"I know what makes her smile, but i won't know what makes her different"
*I know this aint your first but it's better than your last" - reminds me of her pageants.

But in the whole song these bits:
"People around you should have nothing to say" - before the crime, this just reminds me of how people thought the pageants were bad and 'sexualised'
"Live for today, plan for tomorrow. Party tonight, party tonight" - this reminds me of Christmas Day, and then the day her boy was found. (Don't know how to explain)
"Atlanta girls, love the way it goes down" - maybe because she was born in Atlanta. And the song mention 'Vegas girls' maybe because pageants are a huge Texas thing.
" You musta done this before, this can't be your first time" - pageants, how she was so good at them.
"Feel like I know the real her" - I feel like I know JonBenet, but I've never met her and you know. (don't know how to explain)

and the background to this song reminds me of her like the pictures i've seen, and especially the tune after the verse like the piano-kind music in background.

What songs remind you of JonBenet? - Do you know of any songs that are about/mention JonBenet? - I know in Music Box by Eminem he mentions JonBenet basically that song freaks me out because it so reminds me of JonBenet murder :S and I know a Lady Gaga song mentions her in some way.

Her parents made her sleep in the basement?

There's a discussion about this going on at the PMPT IMDb board right now. There's a poster on there who is convinced that despite JonBenet's bedroom been on the second floor her parents still often made JonBenet sleep in the basement. The thing is though people have asked the poster for a source on this but she hasn't given one and just says on talk shows back in the 90's it was said her parents made her sleep in the basement and that numerous nannies and maids of the family have confirmed this.

I have to say that my reaction to this was because I've never heard this before. I've tried looking on the internet for anything and I can't find anything to suggest the Ramsey's ever made her sleep in the basement either from anything JonBenet's nannies said or anywhere else. Has anyone else heard of this before? I can't find anything but this poster is convinced that it's true

I have a bit of free time tonight, so I've been searching around looking for interesting stuff. I came across this old newspaper article from 1994 when the Ramseys' house was on display:

The beginning of the article talks about their house:

House No. 2 on the tour is owned by John and Patsy Ramsey. The Tudor style house, at 755 15th St., between Baseline Road and Cascade Avenue, reflects the Southern hospitality the Ramseys brought from Atlanta, Ga., where they had lived for 30 years. Built in 1927, their three-story home is welcoming with its hardwood floors and wonderfully arched entryways.

This stop will feature eight different themed Christmas trees. Patsy has designed one especially for her 4-year-old daughter, JonBenet. The tree is decorated with a collection of angel ornaments from all over the world.

Patsy enjoys decorating each year from her large stock of Christmas ornaments and decorations. "If it were up to me, I'd have Christmas year-round," she says. "I love Christmas."

The dining room showcases a one-of-a-kind buffet table from Tiffany and Co. of New York.

Don't miss the second floor children's playroom. The "Babes in Toyland" themed room features handmade Mother Goose characters from Holland.
